How to Choose Luxe Swimwear

Start with who's wearing it and where.

Trunks: pick a print, then a length. Luxe Club keeps to deep solid tones, Faded Luxe runs a gradient with the Tucann T monogram, and Luxe Orchid carries the Monaco and Plumb orchid prints.
Bikinis: pick a top and a bottom on their own, in a solid Luxe color, a Faded Luxe gradient or an orchid print.
For two: choose a print that comes as both trunks and a bikini, so you arrive matched.

How Luxe Trunks Differ From Our Standard Trunks

Luxe trunks dress up. They take the fit of our standard trunks and give it a sleeker, more formal finish, so a pair looks at home over lunch as easily as in the pool.

A different closure. In place of the usual tie-up front, Luxe trunks fasten with a zip and double press buttons, with an extra string tie inside the waistband to fine-tune the fit.

The same flat front and elastic back. The waistband keeps the smooth front and elastic back of our standard trunks. One customer who dislikes scrunched waistbands loves how flat this one sits, and another likes that the tie stays out of sight.

Open pockets. Luxe swaps the zipped side pockets of our standard trunks for open side pockets that sit flat and keep the line clean.

Liner, Stretch and Print

A compression liner, as always. Every pair of Luxe trunks has a soft compression liner sewn in. It gives breathable support and keeps everything secure and in place, so you aren't tugging at your shorts between swims. One customer names the built-in liner as the reason for choosing Tucann at all, and another likes the snug inner lining enough to have bought several pairs in the 7 inch.

4-way stretch. The outer fabric stretches in every direction, and most Luxe trunks are quick drying, so a pair moves with you and doesn't stay heavy once you're back on the sand.

Vents against ballooning. Air vents or rear rivets let water out as you jump in, so the shorts hold their shape instead of puffing up.

A tapered leg. The leg narrows toward the hem for a clean line out of the water.

Italian-ink prints. Luxe trunk prints are made with Italian ink. One customer reports the colors stayed vibrant through sun, sand and salt, and another was stopped by strangers in Cabo San Lucas complimenting a Faded Luxe pair.

Luxe Bikinis

The women's side of Luxe is about clean shapes and gold finishes.

Luxe Orchid tops. Classic triangle cups, removable padding and adjustable straps, with gold Tucann pendants and gold-toned hardware. They're triple lined for a smooth feel.

Luxe Orchid bottoms. A cheeky cut with adjustable side ties and gold-toned hardware, also triple lined, with a fade-proof print that carries the orchid motif from the top.

Beyond the orchids. You'll also find solid Luxe bikinis in Black, Aqua, Fluro Aqua, Tangerine and Magenta, Faded Luxe gradient bikinis with sarongs to tie over them, and Aurora pieces finished with rhinestones.

Every top and bottom is sold on its own, so you can size each half to fit you and pair a solid top with a printed bottom if you like the contrast.

Bikinis to Match Men's Luxe Trunks

Several Luxe prints come both ways. The Luxe Orchid Monaco and Plumb prints appear on trunks and on a bikini top and bottom, and Fluro Aqua and Black follow the same pattern. Wear one print between you for a vacation photo that needs no planning.

Sizing Trunks and Bikinis

Our swimwear size guide covers both, and its size finder asks for your measurements before suggesting a size.

Trunks: S/30 to XXL/38. Measure your waist with a tape and match it to the chart. Fit reports vary: one reviewer found a Luxe Club pair a bit tight and suggests going up, while another who usually wears an L needed an XL.

Bikinis: XS to XL. Size the top by your bust and the bottom by your waist. A few bottoms, such as Faded Luxe Black and Purple, stop at L.

Model reference. In the product photos, the trunks model wears an M and the bikini model wears an XS.

Rinse, Hand Wash, Shade Dry

Luxe asks for a little care in return for the finish:

Rinse in cool fresh water after you swim.
Hand wash cold with a mild soap.
Dry in the shade.
Keep it away from the tumble dryer, the iron and bleach.

Ordering. US orders ship free over $100. If a size or style isn't right, you have 30 days from delivery to send it back unworn with the tags on, and bikini bottoms need the hygiene sticker in place.

Within the US, standard delivery runs 2 to 5 business days, costing nothing once an order passes US$100, and FedEx Express runs 1 to 3. Within Australia, standard delivery runs 2 to 6 business days, costing nothing above A$150, and express runs 2 to 5. Treat each as an estimate.

What is the returns policy on Luxe swimwear?

Luxe trunks and bikinis can come back for a return or exchange within 30 days from delivery. Send them back unworn and unwashed, tags still on, in the original packaging, with the hygiene sticker left on any bikini bottom. Book the return through our returns portal before posting it.
