I really liked the look of these shorts. When they arrived I was very satisfied. There is an elastic waist band, but only on the back half. I normally wear a 33" waist, but because of the elastic the 34" was a perfect fit.
I bought 2 pairs and am buying 2 more pairs for my upcoming trip to Cabo. I'll buy 2 pairs of medium (the two I already bought are large and seem a bit loose). I'll likely exchange the two large for two mediums.
Made well with detail they run a bit larger for me so I reorder in. Medium size and fits perfect 5” is perfect as well

I recommended Tucann swim trunks
A great stylish design. I wish the XXL would cinch down a little more in the waist, but the leg opening size is phenomenal. The hips area is a tad tight as well so I tend to get something with a pattern. I finally have something that looks good and isn't super boxy. The lining is very nice but it does hang a little low in the crotch. Overall this is 100% the nicest and most stylish swim short I own. It's not the "go crazy in the water" swim shorts due to the waist not cinching down enough - but these are awesome shorts.
I was hesitant to buy these because the price was much higher than other name brands. I purchased them for a trip to the Dominican Republic, and I’m glad I did. The quality is outstanding, the fit is excellent, and I especially love the lining. They’re comfortable and feel very well made.
The only downside is the price. If they were a little more affordable, I would definitely buy more pairs for everyday swimming and casual wear. Overall, I love these shorts and would recommend them to anyone looking for premium quality.
Perfect swim trunks for the athletic build / gym rat. Just enough room to move with bigger thighs but not flopping around. Use them as my workout shorts when pool/ocean time on the plans. Straight from gym to water.
My first pair of Tucann swimwear are amazingly comfortable! I ordered the Mirage Red 7" trunks and they were the perfect selection for my cruise. I was able to wear them to the pool and beach as well as the ports of call. The perfect transition shorts to the water and back. Quick drying, with the inner liner prevented chaffing and discomfort found with traditional swim trunks!
The material is awesome. The lining is great. The color and design is outstanding. My only criticism is I wish it had a back pocket but zippered front pockets are great
